In Praise of the Giants Class
Last night, The San Francisco Giants finished off the most impressive World Series team pitching performance in my lifetime. After the game, I listened to the post-game locker room interviews. To a man, the entire front office from CEO Bill Neukom to Manager Bruce Bochy, star pitcher Tim Lincecum, MVP Edgar Renteria, Veteran Aubrey Huff praised the Rangers and mentioned former SF Giant Greats. This group of players and executives demonstrated great humility and respect for the game. I was so glad my son was awake to listen to their comments. They are a credit to Major League Baseball and to the entire competitive sports landscape.
